Bishkek, Nov. 9, 2023. / Kabar/. The events of the autumn session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) will take place in Bishkek on November 16-17, 2023,

On the first day of the session, the heads of parliaments of the Commonwealth countries will hold a meeting of the Council of the IPA CIS.

In the first half of the day on November 16, meetings of the CIS Youth Interparliamentary Assembly and the standing commissions of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly on political issues and international cooperation and on social policy and human rights will be held.

Also on this day, parliamentarians of the Commonwealth countries will take part in an international conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Jogorku Kenesh.

On November 17, an international conference will be held in honor of the 95th anniversary of the birth of Chingiz Aitmatov with the participation of the heads of parliamentary delegations of the CIS countries.

On the same day, the 56th plenary meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held.

It is also planned to hold a Kyrgyz-Kazakh youth forum.
