BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. A delegation from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy will visit Italy to discuss the implementation of mutually beneficial projects, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X following the meeting with Luca Di Gianfrancesco, the newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to the country,TurkicWorld reports.
"We extend our best wishes for success to Luca Di Gianfrancesco, the newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan. In our meeting with Mr. Ambassador, we highlighted the significance of supporting joint initiatives. Alongside our colleagues, we will continue to explore and discuss mutually beneficial opportunities during our visit to Italy," the publication reads.
Italy is one of Azerbaijan's top three trade partners, with trade turnover estimated at several billion US dollars.
Italy ranks first in purchasing Azerbaijani hydrocarbons.
