BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Jordan has strongly condemned the attempted drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia's oil facilities, describing the incident as a serious threat to the kingdom's security and regional stability.
According to the Jordan News Agency, Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the projectile attacks, which Saudi Arabia stated originated from Iraq, constituted a "flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a serious breach of international law and the United Nations Charter."
The ministry reaffirmed Jordan's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strong ties between the two countries and expressing support for all measures taken by Riyadh to safeguard its security and protect its territory.
Jordan also stressed the importance of respecting state sovereignty and preventing actions that could further escalate tensions in the region.
The statement comes amid heightened security concerns following recent attacks targeting critical energy infrastructure and growing instability across the Middle East.
Amman has repeatedly voiced support for regional stability and has consistently condemned attacks on civilian infrastructure and strategic facilities in neighboring countries.
