BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has left for Washington at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to a statement from the presidency in Beirut, a bilateral summit will take place at the White House to discuss the situation in Lebanon. The agenda includes consolidating the ceasefire, restoring security and stability in Lebanon particularly in the south overseeing Israel’s withdrawal from occupied areas, and extending the Lebanese government’s authority over all regions.
