BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. US President Donald Trump has urged both Israel and Iran to halt military actions immediately as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.
TurkicWorld reports that in a brief message posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump called on both sides to end the exchange of attacks.
“Israel and Iran must immediately stop ‘shooting’,” Trump wrote. His statement came after Iran and Israel resumed direct military exchanges for the first time since the ceasefire reached in April.
The appeal follows a new round of missile launches and airstrikes that have raised concerns about a broader regional conflict and increased volatility in global financial and energy markets.
