Dozens of people arrested in UK riots

Baku. TurkicWorld:

Dozens of people were arrested during anti-immigrant protests in various cities across the UK on Saturday, TurkicWorld reports.

British media reported that after the murder of three children in Southport, protests organised by far-right groups resulted in clashes with police and looting in many places.

According to police, 20 teenagers were arrested for violence in Lancashire, 10 in Staffordshire, 6 in Liverpool, 4 in Kingston upon Hull and two teenagers aged 11 and 14 in Harlepool.

Many protesters were reportedly arrested in Bristol, where riots continued into the evening. Police usually use CCTV cameras in such protests, and the number of arrests increases in the following days.

A group of people robbed a grocery store and a mobile phone store in Liverpool during protests in Manchester. In Belfast, a car and a cafe were set on fire, and in Kingston upon Hull, several shop windows were smashed.
