BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. Although Iran is negotiating with other countries, it will continue relations with Russia, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said at the first press conference held today (September 16) in Tehran with the participation of local and foreign reporters, TurkicWorld reports.
According to him, the current focus of attention is the development of Iran's strategic, social, and economic relations with Russia.
"As part of my visit to Russia, I will attend the summit of BRICS member countries. If an agreement is reached among the BRICS member countries, sanctions will not affect the countries," he said.
To note, more than 300 representatives from local and international media outlets were present for Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's inaugural press conference.
