BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. US Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights Uzra Zeya will visit Georgia, the US State Department says, TurkicWorld reports.
According to the information, during the visit the US Deputy Secretary of State will discuss issues of democratic governance, the fight against corruption, media freedom and freedom of expression.
During his visit to Georgia, the US Under Secretary of State will reportedly meet with representatives of the government, civil sector, media and parliament to highlight serious US concerns about the "foreign influence" law.
