Victory Day march kicks off from Musabayov Park in Azerbaijan's Baku

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 8. The military marches in various streets and avenues of Baku accompanied by military bands on the occasion of November 8 Victory Day, TurkicWorld reports.

One of the routes of the march runs through Musabayov Park - Abdurrahman bey Hagverdiyev Street - Huseyn Javid Avenue - Parliament Avenue to Alley of Martyrs.

Victory Day is celebrated in Azerbaijan on November 8.

To note, Shusha, a city of great spiritual significance for the Azerbaijani people, was liberated from Armenian occupation during the 44-day Second Karabakh War on November 8, 2020. The liberation of the city of Shusha was the culmination of the 44-day Karabakh War. According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 3, 2020, November 8 is annually celebrated as Victory Day in the country.
