Russian delegation leaves coordination center on grain deal in Istanbul

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20. The Russian delegation left the Istanbul coordination center in connection with Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal, a source in the Turkish National Defense Ministry said, TurkicWorld reports.

Previously, Russia announced the termination of the deal on July 18 and expressed its readiness to resume the deal when the Russian part of the agreement is fulfilled.

As US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, the US and its allies will look for ways to replace the grain deal, but finding an alternative on the same scale will not be easy.

On July 18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed the situation around the grain deal with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
