In order to clarify the circumstances regarding 21 Azerbaijanis, who are in Domodedovo airport for the second day, on behalf of the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation, Polad Bulbuloghlu, the consul of the Embassy was sent to the airport, the statement of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Russian Federation said, TurkicWorld reports.
As it was revealed on the spot, only four out of 21 deportees are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and are subject to deportation for violation of migration legislation of the Russian Federation.
According to the current Russian legislation, to execute the punishment in the form of forced deportation from the Russian Federation, those awaiting deportation must be kept in handcuffs in public places.
The consul of the Embassy held meetings at the airport with the leadership of the bailiffs accompanying the deportees and representatives of the Domodedovo administration.
Four Azerbaijani citizens are currently provided with everything they need and are waiting for the next AZAL flight to Baku.
