BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. The First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic Mrs. Aigul Zhaparova visited the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and met with the President of the Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, TurkicWorld reports.
During the visit, prospects for cooperation and initiatives in the preservation and popularization of the Turkic cultural heritage were discussed.
A concert reflecting the cultural diversity of the Turkic peoples was organized for the First Lady.
The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, being one of the key institutions of the Turkic cooperation organizations, is actively working to protect, restore and promote the cultural values of the Turkic world. Among the priorities of the Foundation are the preparation of a multilingual catalog of objects of common Turkic cultural heritage “TurkHeritage”, the creation of a digital platform for objects of cultural heritage of the Turkic world, the implementation of international educational programs for the exchange of experience, the opening of Cultural Heritage Centers, as well as the fulfillment of other tasks set by the Heads of Turkic States to the Foundation in the direction of preservation, popularization and transmission to future generations the cultural values of fraternal Turkic peoples.
The visit of the First Lady was held as part of the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
