BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev following the deaths of servicemen during military exercises in the Mangystau region.
The condolence letter was published on the official website of the President of Azerbaijan.
In his message, Aliyev said that the news of the deaths of military personnel during the exercises had deeply shocked him.
“During these difficult moments, I share your grief and, in connection with this tragedy, extend my deepest condolences on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan to you, the families and relatives of those who lost their lives, and the brotherly people of Kazakhstan,” Aliyev stated.
The Azerbaijani president expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and offered prayers for those who lost their lives.
The incident occurred during military exercises held in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau region.
