BERLIN, Germany, July 21. A post regarding the official visit of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Germany has been published on the Azerbaijani leader’s social media accounts.
The post noted that President Ilham Aliyev visited Germany on July 20–21, 2026, with the caption: “President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Germany (20–21.07.2026)”.
During the visit, Azerbaijan and Germany discussed issues related to political, economic, energy, security, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the visit, Azerbaijan and Germany signed the Joint Declaration on the Strategic Agenda for Bilateral Partnership, aimed at further developing relations across various fields.
The Berlin meetings focused on cooperation opportunities in energy, green development, transport, innovation, defence, education, and culture.
