KAZAN, Russia, October 24. BRICS is turning into a global center of international attraction, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the first plenary session of the 16th BRICS Summit in the format of "BRICS+" in Kazan, TurkicWorld reports.
"BRICS is turning into a global center of international attraction, in which many countries seeking mutually beneficial cooperation have a practical interest.
The organization has a huge potential for development and unites states from different continents, strengthening solidarity and effectively utilizing joint opportunities for the benefit of all participants. BRICS has both the resources and experience to build a future based on the principles of shared prosperity, mutual respect, and partnership," he said.
According to the President of Kazakhstan, the collective endeavors of the BRICS fit like a glove with the workings of the UN, which stands tall as an essential and all-encompassing framework.
