BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. In the first half of 2024, Azerbaijan produced 25.1 bcm of gas, said Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, TurkicWorld reports.
This figure represents a 4.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year, the minister wrote on his page on X.
As such, of the total gas production countrywide, 12.7 bcm were exported.
Shahbazov also reported that Azerbaijan produced 14.4 million tons of oil and condensate in the first half of this year, with exports reaching 11.9 million tons.
