BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 29. Azerbaijani Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov discussed energy transition and other cooperation topics with the delegation of German company Uniper, the statement of Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry said, TurkicWorld reports.
“Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov expressed satisfaction with the existing cooperation. The sides discussed gas supply, EU energy security and supply diversification, energy efficiency and transition, and renewable energy sources,” the statement noted.
Moreover, the sides discussed the potential for cooperation on green energy (its production and export) and upcoming events in Baku within COP29.
The discussion focused on the development of the sphere of production and export of green hydrogen, its storage, utilization of blue hydrogen, and the latest technological solutions.
