BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2. The next innovation center is planned to be opened in Azerbaijan's Sumgayit by the end of this month, and another in Ganja by the end of the year, the Head of the Azerbaijan Innovation Center (AIM) Elvin Hajiyev told reporters, TurkicWorld reports.
According to him, cooperation with Karabakh University is currently in the negotiation stage.
"In the near future, projects are planned to be implemented at the university with the support of the Azerbaijan Investment Center. As part of this initiative, it is planned to create new laboratories, including research labs, as well as to launch startup programs, hold training workshops, and develop other areas of activity," Hajiyev added.
To note, the first AIM was opened in Baku.
As Hajiyev said, strategic development plans for the Investment Center have been prepared, with goals set until 2028.
