BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 9. The United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, and Norway have taken joint action to hold hardline Israeli settlers accountable amid a deteriorating situation in the occupied West Bank.
TurkicWorld reports that after issuing new sanctions earlier Tuesday, the countries warned they are prepared to take further measures if the Israeli government fails to act. The UK added seven new designations under its global human rights sanctions regime, targeting individuals and entities involved with Israeli settlers.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot stated that France is also imposing sanctions on persons linked to settler violence in coordination with its partners.
