BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, is expected to arrive in Riyadh soon for a previously reported meeting with his Saudi and Turkish counterparts.
The planned meeting comes as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye continue consultations on regional security and developments in the Middle East.
Al Jazeera contacted Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan’s military, to ask whether Munir had departed for the Saudi capital. The outlet said it had not received a response.
There was no immediate official confirmation of Munir’s departure or arrival in Riyadh.
