BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. Qatar and Guyana have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen bilateral cooperation in agriculture and technology, with particular emphasis on sustainable agricultural development and the use of modern technologies.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday by Qatar’s Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah and Guyana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hugh Hilton Todd.
The MoU is intended to create a framework for greater cooperation between the two countries in agricultural development and technological innovation.
The agreement also focuses on promoting sustainable agricultural practices and adopting modern technologies to support the development and efficiency of the agricultural sector.
The initiative reflects efforts by Qatar and Guyana to expand bilateral cooperation into areas linked to food security, sustainable development and technology.
