BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 30. Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest regional developments and efforts to reduce tensions.
According to Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials reviewed diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at containing escalation and promoting security and stability in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar’s support for diplomatic initiatives seeking a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation.
The discussion comes amid continued regional tensions and diplomatic efforts by countries in the Middle East to prevent further escalation and maintain the security of maritime routes.
The call also reflects ongoing coordination between Doha and Cairo on regional developments and efforts to support stability through diplomatic channels.
