BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Switzerland will deploy a major search-and-rescue team to Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes, the Swiss government has confirmed.
TurkicWorld reports that the mission involves the Swiss Rescue Chain, consisting of 80 specialists, eight rescue dogs, and around 18 tonnes of equipment. Authorities said the team will be sent to the affected areas “as soon as possible” to support ongoing emergency operations.
The deployment comes as rescue efforts continue across heavily damaged مناطق, where emergency crews are using power tools to search through collapsed buildings in an attempt to locate survivors.
Television footage also showed widespread panic in Caracas, with residents rushing into the streets after strong tremors shook the capital and surrounding regions.
