BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 5. The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance delivered the Friday sermon at Al-Azhar Mosque in Jakarta as part of a ministry program organized in cooperation with its Indonesian counterpart, TurkicWorld reports via Arab News.
The initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to strengthening its religious and educational presence and fulfilling its mission of promoting the values of moderation and tolerance, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The sermon was attended by many worshippers eager to benefit from its spiritual and intellectual content.
The ministry also launched its 30th intensive training course in Jakarta.
The three-day program for 100 participants covers scholarly lessons and topics focused on instilling the values of moderation and centrism.
The Saudi government aims to boost its relationship with the Muslim world at all levels.
In October, the Kingdom launched a five-day scientific course in Ghana aimed at training and qualifying preachers and orators in the African country.
