Baku, TurkicWorld

A Russian court on Wednesday fined the Twitch live streaming service 4 million rubles (about $44,590) for violating personal data laws, TurkicWorld reports citing TASS News Agency.

"By the decision of the Tagansky District Court of Moscow, Twitch Interactive was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 9 of Article 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of personal data). It was sentenced to a fine of 13 million rubles," the court's press service said.

The streaming service has been fined before by Russia, including back in August 2022 for refusing to remove a video featuring former Ukrainian presidential aide Oleksii Arestovych.
