A delegation of the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, led by Acting Director Alisher Temirov, visited Poland.
Meetings were held with the President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products Grzegorz Cessak, the President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency Andrzej Dycha, the President of the Polish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry Krzysztof Kopeć and the Health Policy Advisor at Polpharma Group Malgorzata Maurer.
During the talks, issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation, exchanging information and experience, and organizing joint events, projects, educational programs, and internships aimed at improving the pharmaceutical industry’s national regulatory system were discussed.
The members of the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Polish Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. To implement advanced European experience in Uzbekistan, the Polish Pharmacopoeia was presented.
Following the meetings, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the Polish Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products.
