The official welcoming ceremony for the heads of delegations participating in the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation took place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse were solemnly welcomed by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and his spouse.

The ceremony was also attended by the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, heads of state and government of several other countries. A joint photographing took place.

A theatrical concert program was presented for the distinguished guests.
