According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On awarding the badge “Faol Tadbirkor” (Active Entrepreneur), a group of active entrepreneurs of the country for outstanding merits in ensuring sustainable growth of the national economy, increasing the production and export potential of Uzbekistan, creating jobs, improving people’s wellbeing were awarded this award. 9 entrepreneurs from Samarkand are also among them.
The event on the occasion of awarding badges was held in the Center of the Directorate of Construction of the town of Shirin in the city of Samarkand. The solemn event was attended by the heads of the Hokimiyat, departments, and organizations of the region, entrepreneurs, and activists.
The President’s Order was read out. Then, Samarkand region’s Hokim Erkinjon Turdimov spoke about the high trust of the Head of state and respect for entrepreneurs, initiatives, and the value of the work of businesspeople. As an example of this attention, on the initiative of the Head of state, the Entrepreneurs Day is celebrated in Uzbekistan. The region’s Hokim congratulated all entrepreneurs of Samarkand on this date. At the event, badges were awarded to their owners.
– This recognition is an assessment of entrepreneurial activity in our region, – says the head of Pichoqchi Dry Fruits LLC of Oqdaryo district Tolibkhon Abdujalilov. – The benefits provided to exporting enterprises have created great opportunities for our work. The company employs and involves 1,500 people as home-based workers. Now, we plan to expand our activities and increase the volume of exports of our products”.
Following the event, the awardees expressed gratitude for the opportunities created in Uzbekistan for entrepreneurs.
