Cooperation between Turkish-Greek coast guard agencies will be strengthened.
According to TurkicWorld, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said this.
Yerlikaya met with the Greek Minister of Maritime Affairs and Island Policy, Christos Stylianides.
"During the meeting between the two delegations, views were exchanged on the strengthening of cooperation between Turkey and Greece within the framework of the duties assigned to the two ministries. Ways of cooperation between the two countries were discussed for the joint fight against illegal migration and migrant smuggling," he said.
During the meeting, the issue of strengthening cooperation and communication between Turkish-Greek coast guard agencies was also evaluated.
