On February 27, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic and with the participation of the Ministries of Culture of the member states, the 3rd Meeting of the Council of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation will take place,TurkicWorld reports.
The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation is an international organization established at the initiative and with the support of the Heads of Turkic States, with the aim of preserving, studying and promoting the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, as well as developing scientific, publishing and humanitarian cooperation among Turkic countries.
The purpose of the meeting, in line with the instructions of the Heads of State of the Turkic countries and within the framework of the document “Turkic World Vision – 2040”, the TURKTIME initiative, and the Charter of the Turkic World, is to discuss strategic steps for the preservation, development and transmission of Turkic cultural heritage to future generations.
During the meeting, it is planned to review the Foundation’s activities for 2025, assess the implementation of ongoing projects and initiatives, and define priority areas of work for 2026–2027. Special attention will be given to the preservation and digitalization of cultural heritage, the expansion of scientific research cooperation, the implementation of joint international programs, and the strengthening of humanitarian dialogue within the Turkic space.
The meeting will be attended by the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as Ministers of Culture and official representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Türkiye, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The holding of the 3rd Council Meeting of the Foundation in the Kyrgyz Republic continues the annual practice of meetings organized by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, previously held in the Republic of Azerbaijan (2024) and the Republic of Kazakhstan (2025), and demonstrates the consistent implementation of its mission to strengthen cultural cooperation and foster sustainable interaction among the countries of the Turkic World.
