On February 7, 2025, in Astana, at the National Museum, under the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 2ND Meeting of the Council of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation was held with the participation of the Ministers of Culture of the member countries of the organization.
At the meeting, the President of the Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova presented the strategic directions of the organization for the preservation, study, and promotion of Turkic cultural heritage on the international stage, in accordance with the directives of the Heads of Turkic States, reflected in the strategic documents “Turkic World Vision - 2040,” Astana act (“TURKTIME”), and others, as well as a comprehensive report on the Foundation's activities for 2024 was also presented.
Within the framework of the meeting a detailed presentation of the Foundation's Action Plans for 2025-2026 was also demonstrated to the participants of the meeting.
The 2nd meeting of the Council of the Foundation, chaired by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mrs. Aida Balayeva, was attended by the Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Adil Karimli, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Mrs. Gulbara Abdykalykova, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Mustafa Kapucu, as well as representatives of government bodies from the Turkic states.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Protocol was signed by the representatives of the member countries of the organization.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed by the representatives of the member countries of the organization, which included a high assessment of the Foundation's activities for 2024, the approval of the Action Plans of the organization for 2025-2026 and etc.
It should be noted that the outcomes of the Meeting will be an important step in the development of cultural cooperation among Turkic countries, strengthening collaboration in the field of cultural heritage preservation, and providing a new impetus for international projects within the Turkic world.
