BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 9. Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the Fintech Alliance of Turkic States, TurkicWorld reports via the Azerbaijan Fintech Association's statement.
According to the statement, the memorandum outlines closer cooperation, exchange of experience, and implementation of joint projects in areas such as the development of financial technologies, legislation and regulation in this sector, enhancement of financial inclusion, support for the startup ecosystem, facilitation of international payments and transfers, cybersecurity, and several other fields.
"We believe that the Fintech Alliance of Turkic States established today will make a positive contribution to strengthening the fintech sector in all fraternal countries and foster faster development of regional cooperation," the statement said.
