Georgia is ready to mediate between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Georgian Dream ruling party Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters, TurkicWorld reports via the Georgian media.
"We are extremely interested in this, and if Georgia can play any mediating role, we'll do our best to contribute," Kobakhidze said.
During the night of September 12, Armenian armed forces units committed large-scale provocations in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.
