TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 12. Uzbekistan and Türkiye have signed a roadmap on cooperation, the Turkish Foreign Ministry wrote on X, TurkicWorld reports.
"Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, and head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalın met with their Uzbek counterparts in a trilateral format in Tashkent. A roadmap was signed at the meeting, which is an important step in institutionalizing cooperation between Türkiye and Uzbekistan," the publication of the Turkish Foreign Ministry reads.
Meanwhile, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will meet today with a Turkish delegation consisting of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, and Director of the National Intelligence Service Ibrahim Kalin.
The visit will include bilateral talks and a joint meeting of the heads of foreign policy, law enforcement agencies, and intelligence services.
The sides will discuss the practical implementation of the decisions of the leaders of the two countries, strengthening coordination and practical cooperation in combating modern challenges and threats to security.
