BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10. The Ministry of Justice is involved in the process of clarifying the voter list, Deputy Minister of Justice Abiddin Huseynov said at a meeting for chairmen of district election commissions at the Central Election Commission, TurkicWorld reports.
"The elections are less than two months away. Important duties lie ahead of us. Clarifying the voter list is a process that involves the Ministry of Justice. The CEC Information Center is also receiving data from the population registry.," he said.
To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the dissolution of the Azerbaijani Parliament of the sixth convocation and the appointment of an extraordinary election to the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The extraordinary election is scheduled for September 1, 2024.
