Valiyeva emphasized that the head of state always pays great attention to sports and cares for athletes.
"We, as athletes, also strive and will continue to strive to justify this trust. I'm very happy to have been awarded the Shohrat Order. This gives us great motivation. We are grateful to the President for everything," said the para-athlete.
To note, Valiyeva became a champion for the second time, breaking the world record in the T13 category, and also won a silver medal in the 400m race at the Summer Paralympic Games.
