Azerbaijan holds regular meeting on liberated areas' urban development issues

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Azerbaijan's working group on urban development under the Interdepartmental Center of Coordination Headquarters, established for the centralized resolution of issues in the liberated territories, has held a regular meeting, TurkicWorld reports.

The meeting, chaired by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Urban Planning and Architecture, Namig Hummatov, was attended by special representatives of the President of Azerbaijan, senior officials of the Presidential Administration and other relevant state structures, and members of the working group.

The event discussed issues related to the planning of agricultural lands in populated areas, fire safety in the liberated territories, and the current state of work on the implementation of the "First state program of Azerbaijan on the Great Return to the liberated territories" until the end of 2024 in the populated areas, which provide for the return of citizens.

The relocation schedule for citizens in 2025 and other issues were also discussed.
