Baku. TurkicWorld:

Baku hosts the second Malaysian Education Fair.

We are proud to announce our second edition of the 'Malaysia Education Fair’ in Baku from 2-3 December 2023, organised by Winning Magnitude and Lingva Training Centre with the support of the Embassy of Malaysia, Baku.

This exhibition combines Malaysia’s leading universities, namely the University of Technology, Malaysia (UTM), Taylor's University, SEGi University, Management Science University (MSU) and Quest International University, to showcase Malaysia’s recognised, attractive, cost-effective higher education opportunities.

The Fair would be an ideal platform for Azerbaijani students aspiring to pursue their world-class education in Malaysia. It will provide an excellent opportunity for students and parents to explore and directly engage with university representatives and academic counsellors in choosing the best-suited educational path.

Personalised interaction will enable the students to gather in-depth information about courses, admission requirements, scholarships, and campus life. Our universities are eager to engage with Azerbaijani students and showcase their unparalleled offerings.

Through this event, we aim to facilitate a seamless transition for Azerbaijani students into Malaysian universities, where they can experience exceptional learning environments and a rich cultural experience.

This Fair is a testament to our commitment to fostering international educational opportunities and strengthening ties between Malaysia and Azerbaijan. Malaysia supports cooperation in higher education that is mutually beneficial for both countries to enhance people-to-people connectivity.

Malaysia has become an increasingly popular destination for international students due to its widely recognised high-quality education system, affordable tuition fees, affordable cost of living, and diverse cultural environment.

With the tagline ‘Truly Asia’, Malaysia has long since cemented its reputation as one of the world’s top tourist destinations. It is one of the world’s top tourist destinations with many UNESCO World Heritage sites. Also, studying in Malaysia will allow students to visit neighbouring countries such as Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

Malaysia is known for its friendly community and a melting pot of Asia’s diverse communities. Therefore, students can gain a global perspective on working, interacting and living with people from different cultures.

In the QS Best Student Cities 2023, Kuala Lumpur was ranked first in the affordability indicator among Asian countries and third in the world. Kuala Lumpur has also ranked No. 1 for the Top Expat City in the Inter Nations Survey 2023. UNESCO's International Students Mobility Survey ranks Malaysia 11th among the most preferred destinations to study abroad.

The country offers a comparatively low-cost education to countries like Australia, the United States (US), the United Kingdom (UK), France, and Canada.

Although Malaysia is among the nations with the lowest education cost, students can balance quality and affordability. Annual tuition fees in Malaysia are between USD3,500 and USD5,500, while living expenses are around USD350 to USD500 per month.

A total of 24 Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are listed in the QS World University Rankings 2023, with four Malaysian universities ranking in the top 200. More than 10 Malaysian higher education institutions were featured in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 in all five broad subject areas. Taylor's University is also listed as the nation's top-ranking private institution in the Social Science and Management category.

According to the 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject, MSU is ranked in the top 50 universities worldwide for hospitality and leisure management, in the top 150 for art and design, and in the top 350 for business and management studies.

MSU currently holds a position in the QS Top 100 among the best young universities in the world, the QS Top 200 among the best universities in Asia, the QS Top 40 among the best universities in Southeast Asia and the QS Top 301+ for Graduate Employability Ranking.

In 2020, Malaysia hosted 131,300 international tertiary students from more than 175 countries around the globe, which is a testament to its robust education system, infrastructure, and world-class education. The government aspires to meet the target of 250,000 international students by 2025.

Taking advantage of this, we invite all students, parents, and education enthusiasts to attend the Malaysia Education Fair 2023 and explore Malaysia's boundless educational prospects.

All students enrolling in Malaysia will be entitled to a 20% entry scholarship and up to 50% merit scholarship. We are also pursuing discussions with other higher education institutions for more scholarships for postgraduate and undergraduate programs.

Join us at the Malaysia Education Fair and embark on your journey to a world-class education in Malaysia.
