Bishkek, March 22, 2023. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France and Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Sadyk Sher-Niyaz met with UNESCO Deputy Director General for Culture Ernesto Renato Ottone Ramirez.

The press service of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the meeting took place at the organization's headquarters in Paris. The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the field of culture, and also touched upon the joint programs and initiatives being implemented with UNESCO, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

In particular, the Kyrgyz diplomat drew attention to the ongoing work on previously reached agreements with UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay. The parties also exchanged proposals on further strengthening cooperation through UNESCO.
