Bishkek, March 14, 2023. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Hungary discussed bilateral economic cooperation with the involvement of the potential of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev met today with Ambassador of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic, Shandor Dorogi, and discussed the implementation of the agreements following the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Hungary from February 12-14, 2023.
During the meeting, Kulubaev emphasized the importance of the adoption at the level of heads of state of a joint declaration on strengthening and developing the strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary, which brought the Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations to a new qualitative level of cooperation.
For his part, the Hungarian ambassador stressed the importance of further expanding and strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
“Along with this, the meeting discussed the implementation of joint plans for 2023 on the development of bilateral economic cooperation with the involvement of the potential of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the study of visits of the Hungarian top leadership to the Kyrgyz Republic and the holding of the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council,” the report said.
