BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. The Trade Mission of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in China, together with the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services, organized an event in Urumqi (People's Republic of China) aimed at establishing direct contacts between Kyrgyz and Chinese companies in the construction materials sector, TurkicWorld reports via Kabar.
Representatives of more than 30 large construction and development companies from Kyrgyzstan, interested in establishing direct supply chains and improving the quality of their materials, participated in the event. Over 70 manufacturers of construction materials and components from Urumqi participated on the Chinese side. The main goal of the meeting was to create an effective platform for direct dialogue between the business communities of the two countries, present production capabilities, and discuss product specifications, current standards, and logistics. Establishing direct business ties is intended to enhance the competitiveness and technological modernization of the Kyrgyz Republic's construction industry.
The event was held as part of the activities of the Kyrgyz-Chinese (XUAR) Center for Trade and Economic Cooperation, authorized by the Trade Mission of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in China. The center's activities will be carried out on an ongoing basis in close cooperation with the Trade Mission.
