Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2024. /TurkicWorld/. Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce (MEC) of Kyrgyzstan Sanzhar Bolotov met with Country Director of the German Community for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the Kyrgyz Republic, Victor Wetzel.
During the meeting, key aspects of bilateral cooperation and increasing their effectiveness were discussed. Issues of additional financing of projects in the field of management and green economy were raised.
Bolotov expressed gratitude to GIZ for the long-term and trusting partnership. Particular attention was paid to the role of GIZ, which actively supports projects on sustainable economic development, health, the environment and promoting the rule of law. At the same time, they also discussed priority areas for further cooperation and joint promotion of planned projects.
Wetzel also noted the important role of the ministry as a counter-partner to GIZ in coordinating bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude for the comprehensive assistance.
In conclusion, the parties expressed hope for the successful implementation of planned initiatives and strengthening of cooperation.
