Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2023. / Kabar / . B2B meetings of tourism companies of Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia are being held in the capital city of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek.

The session is attended by representatives of 32 Saudi companies and about 75 domestic ones. The opportunity to meet and establish contacts with new partners was given not only to members of the Kyrgyz Association of Tour Operators (KATO), but also to those who are not members of it.

"The idea behind today's event is to connect the businesses of the two countries so that local companies make tourism products with a focus on cultural and historical aspects, not just adventure. As a result of the B2B session, it is expected to attract a new audience, new Saudi companies. There is a lot of interest. The first results of this session are expected by next year," KATO President Saltanat Midin told Kabar Agency.

She noted that the infotour is a powerful tool to attract a large tourist flow and promote sustainable tourism products.

The visit of 32 Saudi Arabian companies is organized jointly with the Department of Tourism, Tourism Development Support Fund and KATO members with the support of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan.

In the previous two days, the guests familiarized with the top hotels in Bishkek and visited popular tourist destinations.
