Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2023. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz athletes won gold at the international ballroom dancing tournament in the Czech Republic, President of the Dance Sports Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Sergei Titunin told.

The competition was held from October 7 to 8 in Brno, Czech Republic under the auspices of the World Dance Sports Federation (WDSF). Athletes from the Czech Republic, China, Estonia, Hungary, Moldova, Ukraine, Portugal and other European and Asian countries (more than 20 countries).

The Kyrgyz couple Vladimir Vyrleeva and Maria Proschletsova took first place in the “Youth, Latin” category, winning a gold medal among 50 couples.

In the “WDSF World Championship-2023” category of the World Youth Championship, they took 8th place among 83 pairs.
