Kazakhstan stands ready to provide comprehensive support to Serbian entrepreneurs - Tokayev

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 20. Kazakhstan's government is ready to provide comprehensive support to Serbian entrepreneurs implementing investment projects in our country, said President Tokayev during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, TurkicWorld reports.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.

During the meeting, Tokayev urged the governments of Kazakhstan and Serbia to work together to effectively implement the agreements reached, especially in terms of identifying several major economic projects, the implementation of which will provide a serious boost to expanding bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that, in this context, he has high hopes for the work of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Business Council. For his part, Miloš Vučević stated that Belgrade is closely studying Kazakhstan's experience in political and socio-economic reforms and is practically considering opportunities to expand contacts in a number of promising areas.

Miloš Vučević focused on issues related to green technologies and energy transition and called for the exchange of experience in these areas. He also proposed holding regular business forums, as well as Serbia Days in Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan Days in Serbia.

To note, before the meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Tokayev held talks in both narrow and expanded formats with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, during which a number of memoranda and agreements were signed.
