ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 31. High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will visit Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan from August 1 to 3,TurkicWorld reports via the European External Action Service (EEAS).
The visit presents a significant chance to reaffirm the EU's dedication to strengthening ties with both nations and the entire Central Asian region, even in the face of a difficult geopolitical climate.
The two-day tour will start in Kazakhstan on August 1. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu will meet with Borrell during their bilateral visit. At 14:20 (GMT+4), a joint press conference will be televised live on EbS. Borrell will also be meeting with Kazakhstan's president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on the same day.
On Saturday, Borrell will hold a bilateral meeting in Kyrgyzstan with Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev. Separate talks with Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Azhikeev are also planned.
