This week, there has been an increase in the price of oil, TurkicWorld reports.
The price of Azeri Light crude oil on a CIF basis, straight from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field in Azerbaijan, shot up by $2.78 (a whopping 3.4 percent) compared to last week, reaching a solid $84.5 per barrel. The price during that time period hit the roof at $85.54 per barrel, while it hit rock bottom at $83.72 per barrel.
The Azeri Light crude oil price averaged $83.41 per barrel FOB in Türkiye's Ceyhan port this week, up $2.89, or 3.58 percent, from last week. The maximum price was $84.46 per barrel, and the minimum was $82.61 per barrel.
The URALS crude oil price averaged $2.63 (3.94 percent) higher than last week at $69.3 per barrel. The maximum price for URALS reached $69.99 per barrel and the minimum price reached $68.15 per barrel.
The benchmark Dated Brent crude oil average price rose by $4.06 (5.14 percent) to $83.19 per barrel. The maximum price for Dated Brent reached $84.17 per barrel, and the minimum - $82.25 per barrel.
