Cabinet Chairman Zhaparov: RKDF financed projects worth USD 750M

To date, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) has financed about 3,500 projects worth about USD 750 million, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov at a joint meeting with Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin.

He noted that Kyrgyzstan and Russia agreed not to slow down the pace of common efforts to increase bilateral trade turnover and bring its volume up to USD 5 billion, as instructed by heads of two states.

“The intergovernmental Program of Economic Cooperation for 2022-2026 is being successfully implemented. We are very happy that Russian private business, investors have paid attention to the opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and have intensified their work. We are always open to Russian investments and are ready to provide maximum assistance in the implementation of investment proposals,” Zhaparov said.

The head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet also emphasized that the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund demonstrates significant results. To date, the Fund has financed about 3,500 projects worth USD 750 million.
