BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya, the Kingdom’s flagship entertainment, sports, and cultural destination, will host the second edition of the Impact Makers Forum known as ImpaQ, the minister of media announced, TurkicWorld reports via Arab News.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Media and gathers leading influencers and digital content creators from diverse fields, creating a platform for cultural and professional exchange.
ImpaQ is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 priorities to strengthen the digital media and creative sectors, attract global talent, and position the Kingdom as a hub for innovation and impactful influence.
The event showcases local and international talent through various programs and activations designed to support and elevate the goals and visions of media professionals and content creators.
Speaking in a press conference along with Abdullah Al-Dawood, board member and managing director of Qiddiya Investment Co., Salman Al-Dosari said: “We are working with our partners in Qiddiya to launch ‘ImpaQ House,’ envisioned as an international platform and destination that brings together influencers from around the world, creating an inspiring media environment capable of generating impact that transcends borders.”
In his speech, the minister said the term “Qiddiya” recorded around 19 billion media impressions globally in the first half of 2025, rising to more than 27 billion in the second half, reflecting growing local and international interest in the project.
“This expanding visibility has strengthened Qiddiya’s position as one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship entertainment projects,” he added.
The minister also announced that the Ministry of Media is collaborating with the Ministry of Education to launch the School of Media Talent, aimed at identifying and nurturing gifted individuals from an early age as part of the broader media scholarship program.
Al-Dosary said the initiative aims to build a new generation of media professionals capable of telling their country’s success stories and achievements efficiently and effectively.
The inaugural edition of ImpaQ was held from Dec 18 to 19, 2024 at the Mayadeen Hall in Diriyah, Riyadh, under the slogan “Inspiration Beyond Numbers.”
It drew over 1,500 influencers and specialists from around the world, including more than 30,000 visitors.
During the forum, a series of strategic agreements and partnerships worth SR1 billion ($266.7 million) were signed to promote and enhance creativity and innovation in the Kingdom’s media and marketing sectors.
