BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. Azerbaijan has put pen to paper on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the goal of pushing forward the green transition for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), TurkicWorld reports.
The agreement was inked between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy and ACWA Power Azerbaijan Renewable Energy LLC.
The MoU was signed during the "Role of Small and Medium Business in the Green Economy" conference held in Baku.
The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and organized by KOBIA.
The memorandum lays out plans to join forces and lend a hand to SMEs as they make the leap into a greener economy.
